We were at the Rensselaerville Cycling Festival September 2014. We sold aprons and talked to many people about Helderberg Quilt Barn Trail.

Helderberg Hilltowns Association's Discover the Hilltowns: Farms and Artisans Tour, September 2014. People love to tour our beautiful countryside, visiting farms and seeing crafters at work.

We sold PinchPenny Threads creations and gave barn quilt demonstrations for Helderberg Quilt Barn Trail.
It poured! We got rained out of our tent and moved into the barn at Malachi Farms, where we helped sell vegetables.

August 2014

"The Quilts of Berne and Knox," August 2014. Several hundred people viewed historic, vintage, traditional, and modern quilts. PinchPenny Threads donated the clothespin bags which held the awards for People's Choice quilts at the Knox show.

Sometimes grandnieces need aprons for their American Girl dolls. We got the owl fabric at On Board Fabrics near Boothbay, Maine. We were in the area to explore Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and to visit the osprey we'd been watching on a webcam.

We donated a "Fresh" tea towel to the raffle basket sponsored by Helderberg Hilltowns Association, to benefit Berne Public Library in Berne, NY. May 2014.

We were vendors at MedusaFest and Medusa Small Business Fair to benefit Medusa [NY] Volunteer Fire Company. John Elberfeld, our business partner, displays a 1'x1' barn quilt square for Helderberg Quilt Barn Trail. May 2014.

We had "make-and-take" activities with Helderberg Community Energy at GoGreen Day in Guilderland, NY. We showed people how to repurpose old t-shirts into superhero capes or tote bags. April 2014.

We wore our PinchPenny Threads aprons and sold seasonal items at the "Live Life Local" indoor farmer's market in Albany, NY. The event celebrated Albany County's 330th birthday. November 2013.

The Olde Corner Store in Gallupville, NY, installed an 8'x8' barn quilt as part of Schoharie County Quilt Barn Trail. We gave the store owner this original wall hanging replica, signifying Schoharie County as the "Breadbasket of the American Revolution." See the barn quilt at Helderberg Quilt Barn Trail. Our vintage tablecloth graced the table for the cover of Albany County Convention and Visitors Bureau's 2014 visitors guide. Helderberg Hilltowns Association helped coordinate the photo shoot to highlight the beautiful Hilltowns of western Albany County, NY. August 2013.
