Construction Details:
This panel is inspired by “Sunny Day in Daisy Town” in Whizz Bang! Adventures with Folded Fabric Quilts By Rachaeldaisy. It was a challenge to reimagine a 24” x 24” square quilt as a 12” eight-cut pizza and still have room for purple mountains and blue sky (John’s old shirt). I individualized the "monopoly houses" with exterior colors and gardens.
Thank goodness I found a fat quarter of pink paisley fabric in a little quilt shop in St. Andrews, New Brunswick. It informs the foreground and background colors, tying everything together. A home run!
