PinchPenny Threads is a home-sewing studio specializing in delightful, one-of-a-kind projects. Sewist Jane McLean is a former teacher, happily retired on the rocky coast of Maine. Sewist Stella Bella brings a fresh, young approach to our activities.

Let's Party Like It's 1776!

The USA is turning 250 this year, and PinchPenny Threads is celebrating the semiquincentennial with Folded Star workshops. Together we'll create red-white-and-blue wall hangings based on the traditional Folded Star quilt pattern.

Details:
Participants: ages 12 and up
Group size: up to 12
Time: approximately one hour, daytime only
Space: indoors, tables and chairs
Materials: all provided at no cost: backing with grid; central paper square; red, white, and blue paper squares; folding tool; glue; corrugated frame; paper clips
Cost: none; free to not-for-profit groups in Waldo County, Maine
